How to spawning goldfish

In its natural habitat, goldfish clusters in the early rainy season. The process of spawning carp is stimulated by the smell of dried ground that is flush with rain water. In the cultivation of hatchery, goldfish can be paraded year-round not to know the season.

This time the Alamtani will review the things that should be prepared before doing the goldfish spawning, covering the matured features of gonads, preparation of spawning ponds, spawning processes and hatching of eggs. As for how to choose and maintain the candidate for breeding Mas and caring for the seed spawning, please read the cultivation of goldfish hatchery.

Features of Mature gonads
The females and males should be kept in a separate pond before being pared. Maintenance is done until the maturity enters the ripe gonad. The ripe gonads are a longtime breeding that has been in the fertile period and ready to make fertilization.

In general, the female Mas are ideal to be allowed to be aged 1.5-2 years with a body weight of 2-3 kg. As for the male carp faster enter the maturity of the gonad, namely at the age of 10-12 months with body weight 0.6 kg.

Characteristics of the ripe female goldfish gonad:

The lower abdomen is soft, and the shape is rounded.
The genitals reddish and inflate somewhat open.
The anus section looks prominent as swollen
The characteristics of a mature goldfish gonad:

When the lower abdomen is pressed to remove the sperm, the liquid is white.
The body is slim and nimble.
Departure
Before you should be allowed to pay on the male and female missed. The intended coverage is the breeding of male and female in a separate pond, without being fed for 1-2 days. The goal is to remove fat around the egg bag. The fat that envelops the egg bag will inhibit the release of the egg when clusters.

Moreover, the procurement also aims to hold the clusters longing. It was then that the time was to have both missed each other and did the fertilization.

Set up a spawning pond
Ground pool is best suited for spawning goldfish. The preparations for the preparation are pool, soil processing, clogging, fertilization and irrigation. To find out more please read the preparation of ground ponds for fish farming.

Each female's clusters will need a pool area of 6 m2 per kg of body weight, with a depth of pool water of 60-80 cm. For example, for a 5 kg of Thus, an area of 100 m2 could be filled with 3 years.

Another thing to prepare is the Kakaban. The function of Kakaban in spawning goldfish gives a place to lay the fertilized eggs. Kakaban was made from the palm-clamped with bamboo blades and given the weight to sink into the water.

Width of Kakaban usually 40 cm, varying in length can be made 1-2 meters. How to make Kakaban is as follows:

The Ijuk is neatly brushed with a wire comb, placed lined up along the length of the Kakaban.
Then prepare two bamboo blades to clamp the palm. The pinned section is the center, see the image below.

The second nail of the bamboo blades to clamp firmly to the palm.

The need of Kakaban for spawning Mas depends on the size and number of missed. For Kakaban measuring 40 × 100 cm it takes 5-6 kakaban per kg of carp parent. For example, to miss 5 kg requires 25-30 Kakaban.

Next install the Kakaban at the bottom of the pond. Attach the parrot to the bottom of the pond, so that the kakaban in the floating position. Do not float on the water as well as not sink at the bottom of the pond. Approximately under the surface of the water sekitar10-25 cm.

Goldfish spawning
In general there are two ways of spawning goldfish, namely with natural processes and artificial processes. The natural spawning process is to marry a miss by placing the male and female fish in one pond, so that they do their own marriage. While the artificial process that is fertilized with human help by the injection of hypofisa or hormones and fertilization is done in vitro.

The artificial spawning by injection of hypofisa or hormones is performed on fish that are difficult to clusters. Carp is a fish that is easy to clusters. The spawning of artificial carp is usually done by seeding farmers who provide fish seeds continuously and in many quantities.

On this occasion it is discussed only spawning the goldfish naturally. There are a variety of goldfish spawning techniques naturally. Usually each region has its own peculiarities. One of the famous is the Sundanese way. This is much done by farmers in the West Java region. Here are the steps:

The palm fiber Kakaban is mounted in water, about 10-15 cm below the water surface. A bunch of snapin the patok that is strongly stuck so as not to be shifted by fish activity when clusters.
Enter the female and male missed together. The comparison of the weight of females and males is 1:1, while the number can be 2:1 or 3:1.

The parent release usually lasts in the afternoon at about 16.00 to 17.00. The spawning process will take place early in the day at 01.00-06.00. Marked with a fish of mutual respect and a fishy smell enveloping the pond water.
Observe the Kakaban after 24 hours since the breeding was released in the spawning pool.

In this tempo should the Kakaban is filled with eggs attached. Kakaban that already contains eggs Digoyang-goyangkan to clean from the mud. It was then lifted to move to hatching ponds or hapa. The pond or hatchery must have been prepared at least the day before the spawning process.

Besides Sunda way there are various other ways in the gift of goldfish. Some of the famous ones are the ways of Cimindi, Rancapaku, Magek, pouches, Dubisch and Hofer.

Hatching eggs
Egg hatching results of carp spawning can be done in various places or containers. The usual place to use is the cement bath, tarp pond, aquarium, fibre bath or pond. When we want to hatch eggs in the pond, for example in the spawning pond must be equipped with a hapa.

Hapa is a fine net measuring 1 mm or smaller than the size of the eggs placed in the pond. What kind of floating nets are in the dams.

After the spawning process is done, immediately move the egg filled kakaban to the spawning place. Clean the mud in advance with the Digoyang-goyangkan gently. Then lift and move to the hatching pond or into the Hapa. Hatching place should be protected from rain water and excessive heat.

To prevent the growth of mushrooms, water in the hatching pond can be given Methylen blue.  As for hatching at Hapa, Kakaban can soak first in the water that has been mixed methylen blue. Then the foot of the Kakaban is about 5-10 cm below the surface of water.

At the ideal temperature of 28-30oC, eggs will hatch within 1-3 days. After hatching becomes larvae, no need to be given feed immediately. Because the larvae still carries nutrients contained in egg yolks. After 2-3 days, the larvae can be fed.

One type of feed that can be given for larvae is egg yolks that have been boiled. Then Dilumat, one grain of egg yolks mixed with one liter of water and given to the seed of fish. Daily meals are twice each morning and afternoon.

The hatchery maintenance takes place until the larva is one week old. The larval size reaches 1-2 cm. Next the larva is moved to the pond for the seed enlargement process.
